My Challenger 1P

Here's a picture of my first computer, the Challenger 1P. This is how
much it cost. It's twenty years old now, but
fortunately still operational. It's the machine I not only wrote some of
my first BASIC programs for (a sample of which is included with the Virtual
Challenger 1P), but for which I also wrote my first "commercial"
application: an interactive 6502 assembler/disassembler, written entirely in
6502 machine language, complete with typewritten listing.
It was sold through a shop in Oak Park, IL, called Bill's
Micro Service. Check out the contract.
It earned a little money, but I was just glad to
have the opportunity to learn and share my work.
