Pocket TV Browser users: If you're having problems downloading
listings from Evolve, and you live in North America, then you might want
to try the XMLTV service instead, courtesy of
Zap2it. It takes a
little more work to set up, but the listings are free.
Here's a link to
the Pocket TV Browser XMLTV Support page to get you
started. Note that you'll need to upgrade to version 1.77 of Pocket TV
Browser (available on that page).
Please Note: issues with Evolve's listing service are beyond our
control. If you're unable to download listings from their servers
for more than a couple days, or you have other issues with your Evolve account,
then you must contact Evolve at
support@evolvecomm.com.
Pocket TV Browser has
returned! Browse TV Listings on your PDA just like "the good ol'
days".
We've been working with
Evolve Solutions since September 2003 to provide dependable TV listings for your handheld.
Unlike "free" TV listings that come and go, try Evolve's service for 2
weeks at no charge, and then for a modest annual subscription fee of $10/year
(payable directly to Evolve, not DoubleBit Software), get the best
TV listings available for your handheld -- more reliable, more detailed, and
faster to download than the competition.
The latest version (1.72) includes other small improvements, like support for
the 5-way navigator button on newer Palm handhelds. And when version 2.0
is released in Q1 of 2004, not only will your original purchase/donation entitle
you to a discount, but you'll see lots of new features, once again raising the
bar for ease-of-use and speed, just as version 1.0 did when Pocket TV Browser
was first released almost two years ago.
Visit the Downloads page for the latest version of
the software and further instructions, and then sign up with Evolve when setting up your listings.
